DELIVERY TIMES
Delivery times are based on when the packages leave our premises. Sometimes, due to stock restrictions or a non completed order, dispatch of your order may take longer. We will always notify customers of any issues and problems via email or telephone. If your order is urgent or details change please let us know.
DELIVERY
All of our deliveries are shipped from Audio Electronics Mattijsen, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This means EU customers will not experience import taxes (duty), nor pay value added tax upon receipt, as long as the customer has a valid EU VAT number.
Most of the shipments we do are with UPS. It's quick, reliable, and fully track- & traceable. The shipment costs are calculated on the dimension and weight of the package. We always aim for the most cost-effective options for our customers. If you require speed over cost, or any other special delivery instructions, do not hesitate and let us know.
Payment must be made in full via our accepted payment methods for any additional costs before the shipment is sent. Tracking information will be send to the customer.
STOCK & LEAD TIMES
Occasionally ordered products are not available because we are out of stock or waiting for a new shipment from our supplier. If you're not sure, and you may need certain products quickly, give us a call, email or use the live chat feature to see how we can meet your needs.
ORDERING ONLINE
The fastest method is ordering online. Once you have selected your delivery method and verified your order details are correct, click on 'Place your order' to confirm your purchase. During the shopping process, you can see how many products are in your shopping cart by looking at the shopping cart summary in the top right corner of each page.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
We accept several methods of payment, including iDeal, ApplePay, PayPal and Creditcard, bank transfer and of course PIN/Cash in our store at pickup. For that last option, there is always the free fresh expresso, a chat, tech-tips and a friendly face included

1. Are all prices
excl. VAT?
- Yes, all listed prices are excluding VAT. No VAT is charged at check out if you're buying
from outside The Netherlands and you have a legit VAT number. When you register as a new customer and choose Business customer, you can enter your VAT number.
- Most likely you registered as Private customer and not as a Commercial customer. No worries, please drop a line with your name and VAT number to orders@aem.nl. We'll fix it in the back and send you a heads up so you can place your order with zero VAT.
3. What are the
shipping costs to*:
- The Netherlands - € 9,00
- Belgium - € 12,95
- Germany - € 12,95
* for all standard items. For excessive large end/or heavy shipments we will contact you with specific quote for delivery options
4. Where are you
shipping from?
- Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
5. Do you also repair
pro-audio equipment?
- Sure! But only professional (!) audio equipment. No Hifi,
video etc. Please note that products purchased at AEM (direct of through an AEM
dealer) always get priority service over products sourced elsewhere.
6. Do you perform
warranty service?
- Yes. We are factory authorised service centre for several
brands including Sound Devices, Zaxcom, Meyer Sound, SSL, Wisycom, Yamaha Pro
and Digital and many more. Please note that for products purchased at AEM,
warranty service is handled with priority and a smile, and typically without
any cost. For products not purchased at AEM, a handling fee may apply
