The 4099 CORE+ Supercardioid Instrument Microphone Stereo System Kit for Accordion from DPA is designed to capture audio from your instrument for live sound and recording applications. A pair of clips for attachment to the accordion are included. Each microphone is designed to deliver uncompromising sound quality and unmatched versatility for close-miking a wide variety of acoustic instruments in both live and studio environments. In addition to the accordion, they can be used on strings, winds, piano, guitar, or percussion.

These discreet supercardioid condenser microphones capture the true character of each instrument with pristine clarity—even in high-SPL settings.

Engineered for Demanding Performances

At the heart of the 4099 CORE+ is DPA's updated CORE+ technology, which provides wider dynamic range and increased headroom. With peak SPL handling of 145 dB before clipping, this Loud SPL version (identified by a red marking on the gooseneck) easily manages everything from subtle harp melodies to powerful drum strikes, ensuring natural and distortion-free signal.

The microphone's supercardioid polar pattern offers well-balanced isolation from surrounding instruments, enhanced by a new advanced shockmount and improved gooseneck design for exceptional rejection of vibration and handling noise.

The integrated gooseneck mount (G-MOUNT) provides intuitive, one-handed operation and precise mic positioning. It enhances stability and isolation, streamlines the setup process, and ensures reliable performance under the pressures of live sound. A refined windscreen and low-reflective finish help maintain an unobtrusive visual profile, on camera or onstage.
