The Remote Audio Speakeasy v4BT is a self-contained, battery-powered speaker system that features an improved audio signal path for better clarity and faithful sound reproduction as well as a new power amplifier running a bi-amplified speaker configuration. Housed in a cast aluminum enclosure with a durable black finish, the v4BT's drivers are magnetically shielded, allowing operation near sensitive equipment.

The v4BT features a built in Bluetooth receiver module for wireless audio playback. Depending on the environmental factors, it has a range greater than 30 ft. The simple two button interface offers two status LEDs.

Compact Enclosure
The Speakeasy v4BT is housed in a cast aluminum enclosure with a durable black finish and weighs less than 5 lb. This unit is small enough to hide on set and rugged enough to pack in a case with the rest of your gear.
Flexible Inputs
The unit features 2 combo XLR-1/4" jacks for connecting mic-, line-, or instrument-level inputs on the rear panel. The inputs are isolated from one another so they can be used at the same time.
Line-Level Input
The line-level input is used for balanced signals of +4 dB, though unbalanced signals may also be used. With proper signal strength, the Speakeasy v4BT's maximum loudness before clipping is achieved with the volume control at the 12 o'clock position. An XLR-1/4" TRS combo jack is provided for convenience and is wired in the standard balanced configuration of pin 1/Sleeve: Ground, pin 2/Tip: Audio Hot (+), and pin 3/Ring: Audio Cold (-).
Microphone-Level Input
The XLR mic-level input will accept a balanced mic level signal, and will directly accommodate a dynamic microphone. The microphone trim provides up to 40 dB of amplification. The microphone input is accessible on the rear panel with a small, flat-bladed screwdriver.
Instrument-Level Input
The Speakeasy v4BT will accommodate an unbalanced instrument-level signal on a 1/4" TS connector. The impedance of this input is 1 Megohm, which is suitable for use with passive electric guitar pickups or active guitar preamp systems without loading down the pickups and causing high-frequency roll-off.
Efficient Power
The Speakeasy v4BT will operate on two 9V batteries, typically for a full day of intermittent use. It will also operate from an external 9 to 18 VDC power source on its coaxial power connector (2.1 x 5.5mm, center-pin positive). The internal battery is switched out of circuit when plugging in external power so there is no need to remove the battery when using external power.
Applications
You can use this speaker on your cart to listen without headphones. It can be placed anywhere on set with a wireless receiver for cueing and stage announcements. It can be
