The VDB XL-QT boom pole is made out of 6 rigid carbon pipes and insuring very low microphonics as well as the stability required for holding the microphone, its windscreen, the suspension and even a radio transmitter.
This model locks with a system of collars and you can unlock the boom pole with a 1/4 hand turn. The tightening doesn't have threads anymore which is an attractive feature against dust, sand or other dirt. This boom pole is adapted to any filming situation and ideal for cinema purposes.
